At Clicks for Canines Positive Training, we want you and your furry friend to enjoy the learning experience. Our training classes and programs use positive reinforcement methods to help your dog learn faster and be more engaged with you.  

Punishment-based training confuses your dog- they don’t understand our human preferences. Punishment may cause the dog to temporarily stop what he is doing but it doesn’t teach him anything other than to try to avoid being punished again. Instead, we should be teaching our dogs what we WANT them to do. If left in limbo, a dog will do normal dog things that we may not appreciate (chewing up the furniture, pottying in the house, etc).
